DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION
Blended Learning
Want to give students a voice? Want to challenge students? Want to differentiate learning for students? Let’s give students the opportunity to control their learning! Sometimes all it takes is giving students a little more time on work that is really, really hard. We already do so many things for our students, and they are clearly capable of embracing change. They are ready to be creative, feel challenged, and learn about the world. Let’s put learning in the students’ hands!
Innovation Proposal
Trying to decide on a proposal was a challenge, but blended learning seemed like the way to go because of what is happening in our classrooms during this time. We realized blended learning would be a great way to close achievement gaps and provide differentiated instruction to our kindergarten students. Our students have handled and adjusted to our new way of learning, why not give blended learning a chance?

Literature Review
Before starting this class, I had never heard the term blended learning. After researching, we realized we already “kind of do it,” yet there’s always room for improvement. It was interesting to see how blended learning has been a popular or buzzword for years. I was even more intrigued as I learned about the benefits and challenges of blended learning, that you can find in our literature review.
