When I think of the professional learning networks that I interact with, I find myself mostly consuming the information. Although I find social media too toxic (political/religious), I still use it as a learning community. I just happen to block a lot of people and posts to filter out any trigger type posts, oh well!  The following are some of the networks and communities that inspire me and help me regularly as a kindergarten teacher.

Twitter:

I attended a few of their workshops during a math conference in the summer. Kim Sutton is a rock star and has a lot of kindergarten appropriate activities and strategies. Lots of hands on activities with manipulative we already have available to us.

Jack Hartmann is great for songs and math. He is famous for counting to 100 and exercising together. His twitter account is useful because he posts new songs and everything is appropriate for my students, he even has some Spanish songs.

Facebook:

Finding decent Spanish resources is hard! This Facebook group has been a life saver during virtual learning. It is a community of bilingual educators that share links to Seesaw activities. The community in Seesaw is amazing itself, but Spanish resources are not always available. This group has helped myself and my students so much. The administrators of the group are also #goals because they upload a lot of Youtube DIY videos that are extremely helpful. This group mostly posts things for pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st grade.

This group is also great for kindergarten teachers. I mostly use it to find math and science lessons because these lessons are in English. It is a community of teachers sharing activities for kindergarten students. If you teach 1st or 2nd grade it might be a good resource to differentiate for struggling students.

Teachers Pay Teachers:

If you need Spanish resources, Angelica Sandoval has it all! I love her resources and activities. She has all the cutesy stuff the littles like, but it is educational and easy to use. She has amazing resources for language arts. I follow her on TpT because she is constantly updating and uploading new activities and resources.

Shameless plug time: follow me on TpT! I have a variety of activities and resources, Spanish and English. The reason I started uploading things on TpT was because I was finding it hard to find specific things for my classroom. I decided to make things myself, enjoy!
